HTC Bootloader Unlocking

HTC mobiles are locked with bootloader when they launched to market. With this factory setting, you can not flash recovery, radio, kernel or root it, flash new ROM. Therefore, if you want to control your phone completely, then you need to unlock bootloader first.


You need to know that bootloader is different from root. If you have unlocked bootloader, then you can flash recovery through bootloader or root with Unlock Root. After root or flash new ROM, you are free to optimize your phone.
You also need to know that not all claims resulting or caused by or from the unlocking of the bootloader may be covered under warranty.
